Greatly enjoyed the Silver Ships and Pyreans. Tried to leave a message for you on the “Contact” web form but lost it all when the page didn’t like my phone number and blew up. So you lost some nice compliments! Great characters and imagination from a life-long sci-fi fan.

My 87yo Mom is almost caught up with me, she is finishing up Elvians with 2hrs left to experience and enjoy tonight. And…enjoy The Silver Ships she has. I talked her into it, selling her on the positive forward thinking of Alex and Renee, along with the whodunnit mystery arc of the sphere and silver ships. I also think the different colony ships settling planets tempted her as well.

I didn’t spoil anything for her, as setting various things up made it easier for her to follow/understand. The tech she kept up with fairly well but it was the core characters from the first few books that got her hooked. She was a fan of Star Trek (original & Next Generation) and enjoyed the Star Wars films. For 3yrs now, she is blind in one eye and halfway there (staved off for now) in the other so not being able to read anymore was a huge hit, reading was her biggest passion but thanks to the National Library Services for the Blind, she has access to their audiobook library and her luv of books continues, including yours but The Silver Ships I’ve gotten from Amazon.

Not being able to wait on the audiobooks, chomping at the bit if you will, the last 2 or 3 we had Alexa read. I will say however, it’s well worth the wait for Nicole Poole. Sorry, Alexa, you’ve got a nice voice and all but you are not Nicole Poole… Mom will usually go through an audiobook in 2-3 days, usually 2 days. She has savored each of The Silver Ships and Pyreans over 4-5 days though. I can appreciate that. She’s a fan of murder mysteries but I’ve expanded her reading universe to include feel’good fiction and somewhat humorous titles.

As with me and many others, Scott, discovering, experiencing, and thoroughly being thrilled by The Silver Ships over the last year…well, it’s made a real difference in our lives. I can’t imagine a better escape for any of else off of this planet. A very sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU for allowing my 87yo Mom respite from reality.

Pardon the rambling a’bit or alot. 🙂
