At least they got around to releasing it. Is there a projected date for the next book to come out, since you got more control over the release date of ebooks or is it still a work in progress and TBA?

There is no information from ACX on a projected release date for the “Talus” audiobook. My best estimate the audiobook will be available by November 14th.

Noticed some verbal changes from the Pyrean series to the Silver Ship series that Poole does.

Some of the word pronunciations changed:

Pyre – She pronounces it as Py-ra
First noticed this on chapter 4, she does this for the remainder of the audiobook.

I’d have to go through the audiobook several more times to identify any other words as pronounced incorrectly or to rule it out as her local accent of the same words. I would have to listen to other books she has narrated for that.

Don’t really know if she looked at the glossary pronunciation you have at the end of the book or not.

Each narrator has his or her own style. Working remotely, as we must during the pandemic, an author/producer can control only so much. It’s hoped a minor change, such as the one you’re describing, reach tolerant ears.

    Finally! 😀

It feels like ages since SADEs.
The story is picking up at a fast pace it feels like.

I know releasing the audio versions has been a big hassle for you, so thanks for continuing to release them.

Apoligies for the delay. After the release of “Talus” about mid-November, the audiobooks should return to a pace that follows each ebook release by about two and a half months. Thank you for the encouragement, Fluffy! 🙂
