“Spheres In Retreat” Released

“Spheres In Retreat,” the sixth and final novel in the Cercians series and the Earthers saga, is available on Amazon U.S. in ebook. A glossary (PDF) will be available on my website before the audiobook is released.

I recommend the previous series of the Earthers’ saga, The Silver Ships, Pyreans, and Gate Ghosts, to be familiar with this new series.

Summary: High Order and Elite are determined to rule the subs, who the conclave is committed to uplifting. While Julien wrestles with this dilemma, a  medical issue comes to light. High Order and Elite believed their creators valued their race above all others. But the Messinants, their creators, have played a cruel joke on them.

I’m resurrecting my first novel called “The Florentine,” Randall. It’s the story of a yellow-brown egg-shaped diamond that went missing more than a hundred years ago. It appears on the dark web for auction in our present time. Governments, billionaires, and oligarchs stake their claims. The French government hires Ash Raines to recover it . After all, Marie Antoinette was supposedly the last credible owner of the Florentine.

As they say (and I paraphrase), Chip, there’s no rest for the weary or a writer. I hope to publish “The Florentine” late this year.

Thank for the comments, Stian. I’m glad you enjoyed the journey. I think I’ll always think of many of my characters as friends I might have known.

To me, my stories were all about the characters. Certainly, I loved closing the chapter on the Messinants, but it seemed only right that the saga’s last note should sound on some of the most unusual individuals. I hope to publish “The Florentine,” the first of the Ash Raines series, in late December or early January. I have truly appreciated your support, Colleen!

Hi Scott, Well, I have to say, I was not disappointed with the end of the journey. I AM disappointed that I will have only the memories of the Earther’s Saga for the foreseeable future. I will continue to return for a re-reading (7th or 8th, i lost count) of all 44 chapters, and will once again thoroughly enjoy the characters, stories and aspirations for a wonderful future for all sentients. It will be more fun knowing what happens to the galactic rats (Messinants) in the end. I was a bit surprised with their demise, but it was definitely deserved. For now, i will return to some other entertaining universes, but i can honestly say that the Earther’s Saga has topped them all. I look forward to meeting Ash Raines, but will always hope for an eventual return to the Earther’s universe. Take care, and i wish you all the best successes and a great future.

“Galactic rats.” I like that one. Thank you for your support, Bob. I’m happy to hear you enjoyed the journey as much as I did creating it. May the stars protect you!
