“Allora” Sneak Peek

“Allora” Cover

This is a sneak peek at the cover art delivered by Damon Za for the upcoming novella, Allora.

Rather than a background story in the Silver Ships series, this novella, which is a tale of sacrifice and birth, will relate the events of a momentous transformation in the Confederation that will impact the future of Alex and company.

I’m hoping to be able to release the novella early in December.

P.S. When you look at the luminous crystal on the cover, I want you to think of the place where a SADE’s mind resides.

    Gorgeous cover!!!
Even before reading the post, what popped to mind was the SADE’s, so great job there.

Question: Is this a prequel novella, or is it to be read between books 6 and 7?
I’m very intrigued by the story in the novella, but would like to know if it has to be read in a certain order or at any point in the Universe timeline.

I still didn’t start reading Espero, mostly because if I did, I’d go crazy waiting for the next one, so as it is the 1st in a new arc, if I’m not mistaken, I’ll read it closer to the release of the next book, unless I can’t read the novella without reading it first.

Sorry for the long post. I love this series, and I like the fact that although it is a continuous series, many more books hopefully in the series/universe, it is divided in smaller arcs with begining/end plots, and not one long dragout plot that dosn’t seem to end and after awhile it becomes tiressome. That is just my personal taste, I’m a series reader who likes to read a book and to have at least one more book out or a finnished series.
This became one of my favorite sci-fi series when I was still reading the 1st book and it didn’t disapoint since, even as the series became a little darker/grimmer in the 2nd arc, or that was my feelling, don’t know exactly why it gave me that impression.

Please continue with the great work!

    P.S. – Sorry for the off-topic ramble.

Hello Kristal, I’m pleased that you enjoyed the cover of “Allora.” Your comment made me feel I didn’t miss the mark in its design. “Allora” isn’t a prequel novella. It’s a bridge between the full length novel “Espero” (#6) and the following novel “Celus-5” (#7).

If you wish my advice, I would recommend that you read “Espero” when you’re ready and follow it with soon with “Allora.”

Thank you for your comments, Kristal. I appreciate hearing from readers!

Hello Thanikarn, I’m pleased to hear you’re enjoying the series (many times over ;). You’ll be happy to hear that I do have plans to keep the Silver Ships series going. As to publishing my next book,
I’ve had a few challenges lately, professional and personal, that have impacted the release of “Allora.” I will be updating my website soon with the book’s projected release date of January 2, 2017. Thanks for reading!

    Scott,

Excellent books. I stumbled across “Silver Ships” completely on accident, but I’ve since finished the entire series. I read Espero in a few days shortly after release, and I’ve been searching Amazon every week or so for more about “Allora”, which you mentioned on the last page of Espero.

I always look for books on Amazon, but it’s been so many weeks with still no update on Amazon concerning Allora, so I tried Google and found your blog post. It would be great if you could post the Allora detailes so that I could preorder it on Amazon and just get notification when it’s ready for my Kindle instead of continuing to check ever few days 🙂

Great books. It’s a lot of fun to read. Hope that you can keep turning them out. Reminds me of when I first found Asimov’s Foundation series a long time ago 🙂
