Thank you for continuing to support the audio version of your books. I’ve been really enjoying this new series as well. It feels good to start out with a fresh set of characters after The Silver Ships series. π
Hello Fluffy! It’s been a task! I’ve gone through three audiobook distribution houses, an audio studio, and three narrators. Finally, I arrived at the best way around complicated industry practices β I cut out the middlemen. Nicole Poole cuts the audio chapters in her home studio. My wife audits the chapters for errors and sends the corrections to Nicole. Then I perform the file mastering on Audacity and upload the finished chapters. I wish I knew that this was possible in 2015!
You could write silver ship series forever. Best I’ve ever read. Gate Ghosts has to be more than three books. I’ve read the whole series twice, can’t get enough. Keep up the exciting series.
Thank you for the generous compliments and the encouragement, Dave. “Race Rivalry,” the third book in the Gate Ghosts series, which is coming mid-January, expands the series arc tremendously. To put it simply, a SADE’s work is never done! π
Did I hear someone say the word “book”?!?
With the sensitivity of a bat’s ears, he picks up the slightest sounds! π I just sent the manuscript to my editor, Paul, and I’ve begun work on “Vortex Incursion,” book four in the series. I hope you and yours have a safe and happy New Year!
Does that mean we are going to see the book 3 released next week on tuesday or the week after?
K, I expect to release “Race Rivalry,” the third book in the Gate Ghosts series, on or about Wednesday, January 12th.
At least amazon got more than the manager, the intern, and the part-timer processing the ebooks for release.
“With the sensitivity of a batβs ears, he picks up the slightest sounds!” – I opted for an implant and with FTL relay satellites in orbit, it’s really not that big of a deal.

Happy New Year to you and your family as well Scott.
