“Imperium’s Demise” Released

“Imperium’s Demise,” the fourteenth and final novel in the Gate Ghosts series, is available on Amazon U.S. in ebook. Softcover print is out soon. A glossary (PDF) will be available on my website before the audiobook is released.

I recommend reading the previous two series of the Earthers’ saga, The Silver Ships and Pyreans, to understand some of the nuances in this third series.

Summary: The conclave’s forces reached a tipping point. The vast expanse of the empire’s thirty-five territories required Admiral Cordelia to bide her time. Discreet tactical actions harassed the Krackus overseers and their mercenaries, the Radags. Now, Tridents in the hundreds were in place to deliver strategic actions against the Imperium Empire.

You have your novel, Randy! Then you’ll consume it and must wait patiently for “Clash of Wills,” the first novel in the Cercians series. Life can be so tough! 😉

Something has come for me that has disturbed my writing schedule. At this point, I don’t see a great delay, but I would place “Clash of Wills,” somewhere in the latter half of November or the first week of December.

Wow, just WOW! Fabulous finish to Gate Ghosts, and even with this finish I’m not really sure it’s over. Hector’s message sent chills down my spine – looking forward to the Cercians.

Can’t wait to see if Rules was right about the Messinants’ attitudes. It’ll be interesting to see how they react to the Q-gate enhancements created by the Colony (rings) and SADES (10 platforms vs. 6).

I can’t wait for the audiobook!

Looking at the comments, it seems that this is the last Gate Ghosts book. Will “Clash of Wills” be out in the usual 3-ish months? If not, I will have to mentally prepare myself for the wait.

I’m currently listening to the whole series over again starting from “The Silver Ships”. I’m currently listening to Celus-5 again.

I love all your books and I can’t wait to listen to this one!

Hello, Jack. I do appreciate the enthusiastic support! I don’t anticipate a difference in my writing schedule. That said, reality has a way of directing traffic, requesting your life take a detour.

Nice ending to Ghosts, a little anticlimactic, but still good. So looking forward to Hectors story. Very interested if we’ll see some SADES of our beloved main characters from Siver ships and Perians. 4 antagonists will be wild and crazy. Love these books. Let the wait begin. You seriously need some SADES to help you. 🙂

Amazing! This was an awesome read. Great ending to the Gate Ghost series and a perfect segue to the Cercian Series. I can’t wait to see Hector again and find out what’s up with the Messinants`.

Very enjoyable read, and a nice end to the Imperium.
I did expect Cremsylon to be older than 200 years in a box, as it is mentioned in the first book a couple times that he is the eldest of Sades. Admittedly it takes going back to Libre to find the bit about Mutter being 258 years old at that time. I also thought Julien was around 200, though I can’t find anything about that other than 70 or 72 (depending on New Terran or Meridian time) years drifting with reduced clock speed.

I came across the silver ships during the pandemic, and I have been somewhat patiently waiting for each new entry. Thank you for the great fun so far, and if i may, finally the Messinants!

First comment, but it’s finally time…your “universe” has given me many enjoyable hours of reading. I just finished Imperium’s Demise for the second time and am (sort of) patiently waiting for Clash of Wills and a reunion with Hector (and Trixie, and Willem) and all the other descendants of our fsvorite characters from the saga. I have read all three parts of the Saga 5 or 6 times and they never fail to propel me into your worlds. Keep it up for many more stories. Just one question: What was the name of the colony ship that established the Confederation on Meridien…don’t think it was ever named. Just wondering… Thank you so much Scott.

Bob, I deeply appreciate the continuous support. “Clash of Wills,” the first Cercians novel, is due out in mid-November. The answer to your question is the “Méridia.”
